Dot swims...

Dot had been having swimming lessons for almost a year,
and today,
he knows breast stroke,
but sadly,
lacks the confidence of swimming to the coach without any board to hold onto.

A few months into the lesson,
he developed phobia to the lesson,
and would cry and throw a nasty tantrum telling me he did not wants to go to the lesson,
as it was too tiring and he could not swim well.

I guess i had much to be blamed for his outburst,
as i tried too hard,
reminded way too many times that he needs to correct his stroke..

What done is done,
i can only asked him to enjoy his swimming lesson,
and hopefully,
this erase whatever fear of disappointing me he had in him.

Now,
he stopped the tantrum,
but once in a while,
he would still tells me that swimming is tiring.

The only fun part about his lesson,
is the playtime at the children pool with his swimming buddy, Clarence.

Hi KM, good to teach them when young....I learned swimming when age 5, and in my teens took up fancy high board diving, more to show off, ha ha as lots of SYTs around...

There was once in Penang, was asked by friends, SYTs to show off my diving....from the high board...and I did a real fancy one, and made them laugh till tears came out, one fell into the pool laughing with her Green Spot drink too.

I had made the biggest sin in diving! I'd forgotten to tighten my swim trunks! When I hit the water...then swimming upwards saw something black floating....
you guessed it! Arhaaaa ha ha ha.
Oh well, everyone had fun, my expense.
Have a nice day.
Lee.
